Owner & Director
Hi, I’m J’Ann! Before opening my childcare center in 2017, I spent more than eight years as a foster parent, providing a safe, loving space for children who needed it most. Those experiences shaped my belief that every child deserves to feel valued, nurtured, and supported as part of a family.
With a background in Early Childhood Education, I’ve built Kid Central around the idea that high-quality care and learning should feel like home. Our center is more than just a place for children to spend their day—it’s a family-oriented community where children, parents, and teachers all grow together.
Our goal is simple: to offer children a place that feels like home while giving families peace of mind. Our team is filled with incredible, caring teachers who share my heart for children. Together, we strive to create an environment where every child can thrive, explore, and develop a lifelong love of learning.  We’ve built a space where everyone—staff, families, and children—truly becomes family.

Hi, I'm Nicole!
KCELC Preschool Teacher
I’ve spent the past 3 years working in early childhood education, and I’m proud to have earned my Associate’s Degree in ECE. I’m also CPR/First Aid certified and hold my Food Handlers card—safety and care are always top priorities for me.
As a mom of two sweet girls, including a new baby born this July, I bring a nurturing, patient, and understanding approach to the classroom. I love helping little learners build confidence, explore their world, and discover their own unique strengths.
My teaching style is all about hands-on learning, positive guidance, and creating a warm, welcoming environment where every child feels seen and supported. I value strong communication with families and work hard to create consistent routines & engaging activities that help kids grow.
Hi, I'm Rachael!
KCELC Assistant Director
I’ve spent the last eight years working in childcare, and I truly love nurturing kids, supporting their growth, and helping families feel confident and cared for.
I’ve recently moved into a management role and have loved getting to know parents on a deeper level while supporting our team and helping our center run smoothly. I’m passionate about helping little ones learn, explore, and feel safe every day.
I’m a wife and a mom of three energetic boys!!
In my spare time I enjoy being active with my family! We spend most time at our lake cabin soaking up sun, fishing, and enjoying company of our friends and family! If we aren’t at the lake, you can find us on a hiking trail or out on the side by side and dirtbikes!
I chose [a career in] childcare because nothing brings me more joy than watching kids learn, laugh, and reach new milestones. I’m so excited to be part of your child’s learning journey!
